A high-tech enterprise refers to a company that has made remarkable contributions in technological innovation and has a relatively high technological content and growth potential. The standards, which are jointly issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance and the State Taxation Administration of the People's Republic of China, evaluate aspects such as the scientific R&D, technological innovation and intellectual property rights of enterprises. Meanwhile, there are also certain requirements for the management mechanism and market potential of enterprises.

The standards for high-tech enterprises are very strict, covering various aspects such as technology, management and market potential. Companies have to submit a lot of materials, including R&D projects and achievements, patents and copyrights, organizational and team structures, business conditions and market information, etc. At the same time, they are supposed to make achievements in scientific research and innovation, intellectual property management, technology transformation and market development and other aspects. For this reason, enterprises need to make careful preparations and continuously improve their own technological levels and management capabilities to achieve this honor.
